Winter break was fun for me, it was exciting and I had done so much with my family since I just spent winter break with them. There was so much to do, but mainly all we did was go out shopping to look for Christmas gifts for my whole family when we all got together for Christmas night. I loved spending so much time with my family since it lasted three weeks and they almost never have free time and or I’m always at school. During this winter break I had only done some assignments for Spanish, math, and I had managed to complete my job shadow which I had needed to do since last year English class. I had done it at the Lindsay Police Department in which I did a ride along with a police officer and got a little insight on what they did and what the job required. That day was exciting and I enjoyed the ride along since there was three incidents on which we went to look at.
My first semester has gone by well, I enjoyed the classes I had this year because they weren’t too hard even if I had a lot of work to do. My only regret is procrastinating and not completing my work since I have been falling behind in one or two classes which I really need. So far I haven’t quite “loved” anything about my senior year, nothing has thrilled me to say that I love it, but I do quite enjoy my senior year overall. I almost can’t believe that it is my last year in high-school, but it is and I have to be done with the semester if I want to complete next semester and get my credits, which now close to the end of the semester I will spend a lot of time working on past work that I have not completed.
The second semester I will try harder than I did in my first semester, and I will plan it out carefully to try to finish everything and maybe even ahead of pace, which would be a first. For graduation I need to get some community service hours and get some other papers filled out, also finish classes that I need to finish. All those are getting done at a slow pace, but they will get done.
After I graduate High-school is still a mystery for me, and I haven’t filled out college applications because I don’t exactly want to go to college. Although I have taken the ASVAB and am strongly considering going to any branch of the military. After or during so I would like to join some sort of school as in college, but more importantly I need to find something that interests me the most to the point where I pursue a career.
